Socks sunk back into his seat a little, his height never falter as he thins and stretches out lsightly to appear just as tall as he just was. His glittery green eyes follow about the classroom as his 'mother' talks. He blinks at Devan and his 'shot up there' arm and flicker his tongue in annoyance. What ever. He looked back at the front of the class and watched his mother, and studied the maps. Hey! Detectives need to know the area pretty well! He sat up in his chair and studied the map with a little more curiousity.

**Moss purrs and winks back at Adrien, before sitting back in her desk and proceeding to zone out on the rest of class.**

**Mrs. Dalgo inclines her head slightly to her son in the back, inwardly beaming at his enthusiasm at learning.**
Dunkirk Avenure was based off of an ancient battle that happened with the human race. During the human's second world war, Brutish soldiers attacked German controlled French and were succussful in evacuating over 330, 000 soldiers there. I think.... **His eyes narrowed and staring intently off into space, Devan speaks with the well practiced air of one who memorizes the encyclopedia. Trying to remember the obscure battle, he has no idea that he had gotten a few names and facts wrong.** Dunkirk Avenue was also the location of a civil rights rally twenty years ago, trying to oppose the segregation of races. The rally was unsuccessful and hence there is still seperation in neighborhoods. **Devan continues eagerly, glad to be on a recent subject and not one where he had no idea who was fighting.**

**Adrien sighs as the lesson continues, and is somewhat surprised at Sock's sudden enthusiasm. As the lesson goes on the tom tries to stay focused. He really does, but he soon finds out that counting the white hairs on Mrs. Dalgo's head is a lot more exciting than what she's talking about.**

**Moss, who is quietly counting sheep and deciding how to upgrade Frankencar, turns to see her brother and boyfriend starring intently at her mother. Good God is Devan contagious now? She carefully edges to the edge of her seat as far away from the long-haired tabby student. Having asserted that she is as far away the the Devan-disease's spread, she tears a page out of her notebook and silently begins tearing it into little pieces. Rolling them up one by one, she starts to discreetly toss them at Adrien's head, hoping to snap him out of the D. Disease.**

So you see, each and every street name on the East side has a historical reference, usually pertaining or relating to significant battles. **Devan continues with a smug look on his long furred face. His long answer, as always, recieved a huge smile on his mother's face.**
That's very good, Devan. 5 points of extra credit will go to your next test. **Mrs. Dalgo beams at her son, and makes a careful note on a smaller whiteboard, noting that Devan already had already gained 30 extra points for their next test. ** Now class, take out your atlases. We're now going to be doing a worksheet on the historical references of the street names. No talking, mind you. **Mrs. Dalgo gazes sternly down her nose at her students, but her warning was unnecassary. The level of boredom in the room was such that a pin dropping would have been deafening.**

Socks huffed and rubbed his eyes before reaching into his desk and pulling out an Atlas. Oh well. History was much more interesting then this. Surely there was always something interesting like crime scences and or investigations in Egypt or finding the lost Inca temples in South America! Nope. He was stuck in class. With an atlas. Stiffling a small yawn, he flipped open the first page. Worksheets went by quickly and easily, so this shouldn't really be to much of a hasstle.
Movement from the corner of his eyes caught Moss throwing paper at Adrien. He smiled. Ahh Moss. Good for her to always find something to do....

**Moss, still intently throwing paper bits at Adrien almost forgets to take out her atlas. A withering look from her mother sends her reaching for it though, and she reluctantly opens the book. being her atlas, it has handwritten notes all over it. She quietly flips to the 'Mesto city' page, where the Cafe, and Adrien's house, among other things have been labeled, and begins adding in the movie theater. A few moments later, she flips to the next page, to intently change the color of a little island who's name she doesn't know. This continues as the class goes on, Moss using her atlas as a coloring book.**

MOM!!! **Devan practically screeches, pointing an accusing finger at his sister.** Moss is throwing paper! Aaaaand she's not doing the assignment! **There's a wild gleam in Devan's eyes, as if he takes an extreme pleasure in pointing out Moss's scandalous behavior, which, in fact, he does. He knew that Moss could beat him to a pulp any time she wanted to, but for a few hours a day, she was in his domain, and he could torment her relentlessly as much as he wanted to.**

**Adrien looks up at Moss as he notices it seems to be.... snowing. Over his desk. Smiling and rolling his eyes at her, he reaches for his atlas. It's in pretty good shape, considering what the other atlases look like, and he flips open to the Mesto City Map page. Before he can start working, he is startled by Devan's sudden outburst. The tom cat leans back into his chair, knowing this argument will be a lot more exciting than any geography worksheet Mrs. Dalgo can give him.**

**Moss gives Devan a killer glare which, if looks could kill, would have incinerated him five times over. then, turning to her mother with the biggest, greenest, most-innocent eyes possible, she meows.** Um, Mom- I mean, Mrs. Dalgo, I think we'd better get some doctor to look at Devan. I think he's seeing things. **Shuffling around in her desk, she produces last weeks geography assignment, and waves it in the air- just long enough for her mom to see a nearly-completed paper, but not long enough for her to read the words.** See I have been working... and I don't know what paper he's talking about....

Socks flickered his tongue in annoyance. 'Snitcher...' He snorted at Devan's outburst. He watched Moss' had waving hte assignment and eagerly nods.
"I've bene watching! It seems she's working hard to me!"
He hissed innocently, blinking up at his mum. His tongue flickered to end his point, and he looked back down at his worksheet.

**Devan splutters angrily for a few seconds, then realizing he had absolutely no support from any of his classmates, he grabs his math textbook and flips it open again, glaring out angrily from behind it.** Fine! Don't believe me. But she is cheating. And one day this will all come back to you, crashing around your ears like your own pathetic lives! **Devan shouts, his voice rising and volume and pitch, barely suppressing a maniacal laugh near the end of his speech.** You'll rue the day you never trusted me! **Huffing profusely, he submerges his head into his book, not even seeing the words he was reading.**
**Mrs. Dalgo stays silent throughout this whole exchange, barely glancing at Moss' work for confirmation before her eyes flick back to Devan.** Well, Devan, honey, do you think you'd better lie down? **She asks, looking very concerned for her younger son.** Maybe you should go to bed early tonight, just get rested.... **In truth, Mrs. Dalgo was a little more than worried about this outburst, but at the present it could just be him over stressing.**

**Adrien smiles in satisfaction. This was entertaining. He winks back to Moss, then goes back to (or, starts, actually) working very intently. With a little luck, Mrs. Dalgo won't notice that a.) he just started, and b.) he was very amused to watch the little Moss Devan debacle. The tom sighs inwardly at his atlas. Wasn't this the same thing they learned last year?**

**Devan's eyes light up with an almost psychotic blaze.** No, I don't want a nap! No, no, no! **He jumps off of the counter and stomps his feet, giving a fair imitation of a four year old holding a tantrum.** You can't make me sleep, ever! **Devan's voice was coming in a peculiar shrill voice, and he looks rather mutinous as he walks towards the back door.** But just to spite you all, I will go to bed! So ha! I win in the end! **Giving one last angry look to everyone in the classroom, Devan opens and slams the door then stomps his way down to his bedroom, unaware of the fact that he was really following his mother's wishes.**
