Sir Kreuzeritter was not a happy camper. His horse had run off. Great. He was stuck in the swamp. Fantastic. His chainmail was rusting. "UUUUGGGHHH!!!!" He roars stressfully. The swamp was deep and mucky, tugging at his legs as he tried to go threw it. The trees casted eerie shadows, and the sparkly water swirrled in his wake. He grunted, heaving himself threw the muck until he reach a small little grass hill that was not covered in water. He looked relived, and walked around to the other side of the mini island.
"Well this is great!" He grinned behind his helmet, his spirits brightening. He turned and took a step back into the muck, sinking knee deep and tumbling into the water.
"Yikes!" He yelps in surprise, pulling his leg back out with a loud 'sssshhhhlllurrpop!' He wrinkles his nose and turns in another direction, his sword's sheath angled up out of the water as he wadds his way threw.

**A curious face pokes out from behinds an old tree. The skin is a teal color, and the features are smooth and flat. Pupil-less eyes open, their unsettling milky color almost the same as the rest of the face. Noxica turns to look at sir Kreuzeritter. The swamp nymph wrinkles her nose. Great. A human. She takes a step back to watch him flounder through the mud. And a noisy one at that. The slender girl picks up her lantern and holds is low, keeping the light out of sight. with a rustle of her 'wings' she begins following the night, her bird legs breaking through the water easily.**

Sir Kreuzeritter keeps trudging threw the water, not seeming concerned with anything. He passes several crooked trees and he watches them as he walks past, not liking the looks of them. He sighs and mutters something under his breath. As he continues slopping around in the muck, a new look of amazement comes over his mind. "I wonder what could live here!" He asks himself, glancing around as he said so. 'But then again I'm not to sure I want to out...' He thought. 'But I'll be ready for anything this place throws at me!' He reassured himself.

**Noxica narrows her milky eyes as the knight talks out loud to himself. She really shouldn't... but the invitation is too tempting to resist. So, the mutated creature steps out.** I could. **She hisses. Her voice is low and smooth, with an odd silky background noise. Normally the swamp nymph is shy around humans, but this one seems much to deep in mud to do any damage. She takes a step closer, her 'wings' rustling. Now, she brings her lantern up, casting an eary yellow glow around her flat features and the surrounding trees. The gnarled trees are thrown into sharp contrast- shadows visible all around.** What are you doing here?

Sir Kreuzeritter nearly jumped three feet out of his armoured boots. Thank goodness he didn't or they would be loss beneath the muck. He twisted himself to the left to look at who spoke, the water swirling around at the brisk movement. His eyes widened behind his metal helmet. 'The others will not belive me whent hey hear this! That is if I live to see that next dawn...' He thought to himself.
"My dear... swamp creature... I am but returning home, and have found myself lost in this strange place." He smiled, hand resting on the hilt of his sword in case this creature decided to pose a threat or attack; but oddly enough his mind seemed at ease even though his nerves were on overload.

**Noxica shakes her head a little, smiling thinly. Her fluffy tail waves around behind her in nervous agitation. The swamp creature looks the knight over. Her eyes fall to rest on his sword, which he has his hand on, and a low, snake-like growl escapes her lips. While the gesture is obviously non-aggressive, she can't help but feel threatened by the easy with which he could pull out the sharp blade.** Need help? **She hisses soflty.**

Sir Kreuzeritter relaxes, his relief showing as he seems to sink back more onto his heels, muscles loosening and his hand on the hilt of his sword falls to his side. He seems unease at the swamp creature's hissing, but he quickly gets over it. He wants no fight.
"I'm terribly sorry, but in a place like this with I don't know what living here... it's safer to be prepaired then eaten." He says, his frown turning into a smile as he chuckles.
"Help would be great thank you!" He grins.

**Noxica's demeanor relaxes as the knight removes his hand. The extra bones on her wrist move back and forth as she stares at the knight a bit longer. Help him? or not?... Help him? or not?.... Help him? or not?... Finally, she sneaks a small smile and holds her lantern up. This time, the light shines through her wing membranes, tinting the surroundings teal.** Okay. just follow me. **She nymph begins walking away, her clawed feet sliding effortlessly through the mud.**

Sir Kreuzeritter grins behind his helmet, and he allows her to lead the way. He struggles to pull his feet in and out of the muck, it slupring and squelching beneath his feet as he tries to hold up her pace without falling over. And it was working, but with much effort.
With a puff, he exhales loudly. "How do you do it?!" He asks in amasement, slowing a little bit to watch her walk threw the mud. "Sorry to sound rude, but I find it amazing!" He says, lifting a foot with a loud squelching pop and placing it back down with a squish. "This mud is SO thick, I bet it woul-" He was cut off by a yelp as he fell over sideways into the swamp, the mud swallowing up his right arm and side. Wrinkling his nose, he tugs on his arm to get it out. "Uuuuhhhg!" He grumbles as his arm sloshes its way out. He stands up ruffly, then chuckles. 'Well that was a struggle!' He laughed at himself.

**Noxica turns around to watch the knight flounder in the mud. Covering her mouth with a teal hand, she giggle softly. Pulling her hand back, she pulls one of her claws our and points to it. The foot is, indeed, like an overgrown bird's. Oddly enough, neither her foot or her baggy gray pant leg are muddied.** Magic. **She says, smiling cheekily. However, she doesn't move farther off, letting the knight catch up.**

Sir Kreuzeritter's eyes sparkle behind his helmet and he sloshes over sloppily, coming to a stop a little bit off to her side. Magic. The thought echoed in his head. "Awesome!" He chirped happily, looking at her bird liek foot before looking a his own, muddied one. "Well....you're lucky! I'm going to get in trouble for this!" He grinned, putting his mucky foot back down.
"So you live here?" He asks while glancing around the swamp. "It's a miracle you know where you're going! I'd get lost, and HA! I did!" He grinned, looking back at the nymph.

**Noxica nimbly hops back a step. She likes foreigners in the mud- where she can decide what happens. she smiles and nods.** Yeah. but well, that's what magic is for, isn't it? **She continues to step forward, always holding up the lantern. The light stays steady, for the most part, sometimes sending bright yellow light onto the trees, sometimes sending rays of teal glow, when the light passes through her wing membranes.** Yup yup.... I couldn't live anywhere else. **This being both literal, and figurative.** As for the getting lost, I've been around a few times. And besides, it's not like I'll die if I get lost or anything!

Sir Kreuzeritter follows, his head darting around to look at everything. 'Note to self, stay clear of the swamp unless it is nessisary.... and I'm more properly prepaired.' He gave a little shrug.
"Magic is something new for me... this whole place is!" He said, picking a faster pace to make sure he doesn't fall behind. It wasn't to long ago that the castle was finished repairs and he was allowed to go wander. This whole new world was very different, but not only by its creatures, but the surroundings. It's much more difficult here, then it was before the castle fell down, swallowed up by the land. The thing that was most disapointing is that there were no other humans aroudn to fight off. He and Lance were a little 'down' at that, but at least they aren't completely hopeless for their abilities and future.

**Noxica stops as he talks about magic, and turns around. Squinting in his direction, she hisses.** You don't drink water? **Of course, she though all humans drank water... and if he's drunken the water, he's got to have something special. at least a little something...**

EWW! Ugh! THis is so gross.. so absolutely repulsive. I positively find myself wanting to puke! Yuck! **Aelia raves as she haltingly makes her way through the sludge-like marsh, beating her way frantically through anything that crossed her path.** Ugh! **She groans aloud, oblivious of her surroundings as she stumbles over a tree root.** I just got these nice new shoes and now there's icky stuff on them. And my hair! My beautiful silky hair! **The elf looks close to tears as she strokes her almost flawless hair, trying to pick out the twigs and leaves that were embedded into their silvery depthes.** As soon as I get out of this godforsaken pit, I will walk up to the nearest authority and make them take this place away. Honestly, it's a disgrace to the cave! **she whines irrationally to herself, kicking the nearest clump of mud and finding to her dismay that her foot was stuck in it.** Ohhh, my god! **she takes a deep breath, obviously furious at the mud for being there. Stomping her other foot in frustration, the slender female elf tries yanking her other foot from the clump of marsh mud, only to find it stuck fast.** STOP IT! **She yells at the mud, her face a mask of livid insanity. While trying to free herself from the soft ground, Aelia spots a long winding shape of an earthworm out of the corner of her eye and lets out a shriek of pure terror, falling headfirst to the ground in a dead faint, still completely unaware that there were two other creatures nearby.**
