~~~~~If you to stay after the East Side School day has finished (which you probably won't- Mrs. Dalgo's school is sadly lacking in extra-curricular activities, and staying after school is quite a punishment) you will notice that, after the vast majority of the kids have charged out of the door the moment the bell rings (including Moss and Socks of course, providing they were even there to begin with) some six students will stay behind, and walk into a large-ish back room of the 'Mesto City Antiques' building, leaving the teacher at her desk.
The school /is/ near the Dalgo's house- it's under it. If you have followed the kids this far (not likely- unless one has invited you over) you will see some of them lay down on fading couches, and some peel off from the group and climb up a ladder to the second floor of the building. This room, connected directly to the school, is the Dalgo's living room, and entrance hall. If you to follow the couple kids climbing up the ladder, you will enter a kitchen like space- with a stove and cooking area kept spotless by the mother (who is doubling as a teacher downstairs) and her children, when they happen to be around on 'cleaning day'. The walls (lined with old cupboards), floor, and table, however, look like a Jackson Pollock 'masterpiece'. Apparently, one of the kids had a spark of creativity, and somehow procured tubs of a rainbow paints colors for their siblings, as well as paintbrushes for them to fling it everywhere. Or maybe they'd just gone at it with kitchen utensils (some spots do look big enough to have been made by a ladle of paint).
If you manage to get past this room without anything falling on you or one of the kids spilling something all over you, then you might go down the hall adjacent to it. The hall seems to have suffered the least of the paint 'disaster', but looks sadder than the kitchen. It has flaking plaster, coming off in worn pieces, and the only sign of brightness are the six doors. If you to walk straight down the middle and through the one at the end of the hall, which is a regular, wooden-brown, you will find yourself in Mr. and Mrs. Dalgo's room. Then, if you try the door right next to theirs, painted a sober white, you will enter a bathroom, where Mrs. Dalgo's attempts to keep everything clean seem to lessen. Here she settles for 'not-too-disgusting' instead of 'nice-and-clean'. Backing out of the restroom, you will finally be able to take in the other four doors: two on each side, and each /very/ different. Each of the eight Dalgo kids has been pared with the person who is closet in either age or personality, or whoever they get along best with. And here, in the kid's rooms, they are given no limits on decoration, including the door.
This is about the time the crazy little animals that climbed the ladder to get food might choose to go to their rooms, if they aren't heading out of the house and school to meet somewhere else. You'll definitely want to head out, past the crazy doors, the paint-splattered kitchen, down the shaky ladder, through the living room filled with old furniture and kids, and finally tiptoe out of the classroom, as to not bother the imperious Mrs. Dalgo. At last in the 'fresh' air of the East Side, you'll stroll off, wondering what life must be like in /that/ house.~~~~~~~~~
Post here for the kitchen and hallway..
**Moss sits in her kitchen, obviously in her element. Her seat is the (breaking) table, and grapes are flying through the air in front of her. The cat girl is wearing a look of fiendish glee that would frighten anyone who doesn't know her well. Emerald eyes glowing, she throws a grape in the air, and catches it squarely in her fanged mouth. Purring as she crunches on it, she watches various other anthro kids, all younger of course, attempt to do the same, explaining the purple projectiles going everywhere. She's practiced tossing grapes into her mouth every time they've gotten them (which isn't often) since she was as little as her siblings are now. Every now and then, one of the grapes goes rolling down the stairs, followed by a tumbling, laughing little cat, or some other animal. And, rarely, one of them squeals in excitement, and jumps up and down, with a 'I CAUGHT IT!! (crunch) AH CAUGHT IT!!! (choke cough sputter)'.** Good job! **She congratulates the 'catcher', popping another one into her mouth. If Devan could see them now... He'd pass out. Yet another grape goes flying through the air, this one finding a target on the wall, next to a good amount of others.** No! **Moss laughs.** Not that hard! Remember, they do have to fall back at your mouth, not fly behind you!!
